Tornadoes tracked across parts of Texas on Saturday, leaving behind a swath of damage, injuring dozens of people and killing at least five, according to multiple reports
The Canton Fire Department Capt. Brian Horton said that at least five were dead, including one person who was in a vehicle when a tornado tossed it along Highway 64 in Canton. Horton said the number of fatalities was expected to rise as dawn breaks.
Preliminary reports to the National Weather Service in Fort Worth indicated that as many as three tornadoes raked over parts of Henderson, Van Zandt and Rains counties in eastern Texas. Crews will survey the damage Sunday to determine the strength of the twisters.

Manila: A 6.8-magnitude earthquake struck off the Philippines early yesterday, officials said, damaging several buildings and injuring two people as panicked residents fled the coast following a tsunami warning.
US authorities warned of potential hazardous waves in the southern region of Mindanao and Indonesia after the quake hit at 4.23am, but the tsunami alert was lifted less than two hours later.

FIFE, Wash. – A driver was seriously injured after a tree fell on her vehicle on Interstate 5 in Fife Wednesday afternoon.
The incident caused a miles-long backup in the southbound lanes near 70th Avenue East before 3:30 p.m.
Chopper 7 flew over the backup, where a Prius was flattened by the tree.
The driver of the Prius was struck in the head by the tree. The 54-year-old woman was taken to Harborview Medical Center.
Harborview spokeswoman Susan Gregg said Wednesday night the woman has head and neck injuries that are not life-threatening and was upgraded to serious.
According to the Washington State Patrol, a Nissan Altima was also struck by the tree. The 55-year-old driver in the vehicle was not injured.

A member of Puerto Rico’s House of Representatives sneak attacked a protester in a shocking video taken outside the island’s Capitol building. The video was taken early in the afternoon of April 27 in San Juan. The protesters can be heard shouting Rep. Jose Luis Rivera Guerra’s name at the entrance to the building. After a few seconds, Guerra appears to sucker punch a protester with an elbow.

1 It happened that as ( רחבעם Rehoboam’s ) kingdom became established and he became
strong, he forsook the (תּוֹרָה Torah / the instruction) of (השם Hashem The Lord), and all (יִשְׂרָאֵל Yis’rael Israel) with him.
2 lt was in King ( רחבעם Rehoboam’s ) fifth year that Shishak king of Egypt ascended
against ( יְרוּשָׁלַיִם Yerushalayim Jerusalem ) – because they had betrayed (השם Hashem The Lord) – 3 with twelve hundred chariots and sixty thousand horsemen, and countless people who came with him from Egypt- Lubim, Sukkiim and Ethiopians. 4 He captured (יהודה Yehuda Judah’s ) fortified cities and he approached up to ( יְרוּשָׁלַיִם Yerushalayim Jerusalem ).
5 (שמעיה Shemaiah ) the prophet came to ( רחבעם Rehoboam ) and the officers of (יהודה Yehuda Judah ) who had gathered together in ( יְרוּשָׁלַיִם Yerushalayim Jerusalem ) because of Shishak, and he said to them, “Thus said (השם Hashem The Lord): You have abandoned Me; so I, too, have abandoned you into the hands of Shishak!”
6 The officers of (יִשְׂרָאֵל Yis’rael Israel) and the king thereupon humbled themselves, and they said, “(השם Hashem The Lord) is the rightous One!” 7 When (השם Hashem The Lord) saw that they had humbled themselves, the word of (השם Hashem The Lord) came to (שמעיה Shemaiah ), saying, “They have humbled themselves; I will not destroy them. I will grant them a small portion as a remnant, and my wrath will not be poured out upon ( יְרוּשָׁלַיִם Yerushalayim Jerusalem ) through Shishak. 8 Rather, they will become slaves to him, and they will recognzee [the difference between]serving Me and serving the kingdoms of the lands!”. 2 Chronicles12:
